Thanks to Daniel Smith for allowing me to give a new home to his lyrics to Al's music.
"Weird Al" Yankovic released his twelfth album called "Straight Outta Lynwood" on September 26th, 2007, through the Volcano records label. It includes parodies of tracks by Green Day, Usher, R. Kelly and Chamillionaire, whose "Ridin'" gets rewritten as first single "White And Nerdy." The cover image is available on Yankovic's official Web site weirdal.com, is a riff on N.W.A.'s 1989 album "Straight Outta Compton" and features the artist posing DMX-style with a fairly large pit bull. This CD was released on DualDisc, with the second side that can be played on DVD players; the second side featured animated videos of some of his songs by David C. Lovelace and John Kricfalusi, the creator of "Ren and Stimpy." As far as I know, it's the first comedy musician to create a CD release on DualDisc. There's no official word if a DVD-Audio version of his CD will be released. One song that won't be available on the new CD is "You're Pitiful", a parody of the James Blunt song "You're Beautiful." A download of the song is available through the links on the Weird Al website weirdal.com
For the first time EVER on DVD, The Weird Al Show - The Complete Series pulls together all 13 episodes in one expansive 3-DVD box set. Yankovic’s signature warped comedy, original songs, TV and movie spoofs, twisted animation and ability to attract a wonderful and motley collection of special surprise guests are what make this a treasure chest of all things Al.

Just one day after their second wedding anniversary, their new daughter, Nina, was born (February 11, 2003). From reliable news sources (weirdal.com), both new mom and daughter are doing fine, but it will only be a matter of time before little Nina begs mom for "M-M-My Bologna."That was the BIG BIG news of the day, courtesy of Jon "Bermuda" Schwartz, the drummer in Weird Al's band and author of http://www.weirdal.com/
